We believe in full transparency at Reseed and want to restore trust in charities. We think that if you are willing to donate your money to us, you deserve to know where it’s going. That’s why we’re committed to sharing the reality of what it costs to achieve our work.

On average we need £5,000 a month to continue our work. This covers: 

• Salaries and staff benefits - we are a responsible employer and want to make sure our partners in Sierra Leone are well paid and looked after so our salaries are competitive and we also offer other benefits like medical as well as paid time off.

• Overheads - we keep overheads to a minimum and only have an office in Sierra Leone but just to run we need to pay for the Internet, electricity, motorbikes and much more. 

• Programme implementation - to deliver our programmes, we train our staff, cover travel costs to visit beneficiaries, conduct monitoring and evaluation of our programmes and provide the necessary loans, training and support to our beneficiaries. 

• Fundraising - we try to spend as little as possible on fundraising but we have to spend money to raise money!

Thanks to some amazing and generous people, we already receive £2,500 a month - we’d love to reach £5,000 a month because it would give us a reliable stream of income allowing us to better and more effectively plan our work.
